Structure and Function

Spirit Classic is a multi-layer thermal transfer paper. The top white layer carries the design; beneath it is a loose, milky-white intermediate layer, which is usually discarded; then comes the purple carbon layer, which transfers the color to the top sheet during printing; and finally, the yellow backing layer, which holds the template in place in the thermal copier.
The highly visible purple dye pays off in practice: The line stands out clearly against the skin, even with delicate fine-line or lettering designs.

Why “Extra Long”?

With a sheet length of 40.64 cm, you can cover designs that won’t fit in one piece on standard (27.9 cm) or long (35.6 cm) sheets—such as sleeve, back, and thigh designs, or long ripped-line designs.
A single, continuous stencil means no seams, no aligning of sections, and less distortion during transfer.

In Use

The paper works with all standard thermal copiers and can also be used for hand-drawn (freehand) stencils.
For a rich, smudge-proof result on the skin, use it in combination with a transfer gel or cream.
Store sheets flat, dry, and protected from light—the paper is stable in storage, but creased sheets may feed unevenly through the copier.

Compliance

Practical context: EU Regulation 2020/2081 (REACH, Annex XVII, Entry 75) governs tattoo and PMU inks, not thermal stencil paper.
