Who is behind Intenze?

Intenze was founded by tattoo artist Mario Barth and has been on the market for over two decades. According to the manufacturer, the US brand is sold in more than 100 countries and stands for saturated, long-lasting, colour-true pigments – developed from hands-on practice, with a focus on safety and durability.

What is the Intenze GEN-Z line?

GEN-Z is Intenze’s line reformulated for the European market: it meets the current REACH requirements without compromising on workability. The inks flow evenly, lay in and dilute cleanly and, per the manufacturer, heal colour-stable.

According to the manufacturer, Intenze offers over 250 individual colours plus several artist signature series – from old school through colour to realism and black and grey:

What about quality and safety?

Intenze manufactures in the USA in a production certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22716 and, according to the manufacturer, batch-tests for microbiology, purity and consistency. The inks are vegan and cruelty-free, sterile-filled and, per the manufacturer, formulated without heavy metals, parabens, PAHs and mineral oil. Intenze also states it was the first manufacturer to sterilise its inks in-house.

Are Intenze inks REACH-compliant?

Yes. The GEN-Z line meets the current EU REACH requirements. As with any ink: look for a complete safety data sheet and full batch and expiry details – so the application stays documented and legally sound.
